My Experiences With Raspberry Pi

Recently i order Raspberry Pi For one of my Project Work and i fall in love with it. So i decided to share my experience with Raspberry Pi . The Raspberry Pi is a tiny and affordable computer that you can use to learn programming through fun, practical projects. The Raspberry Pi Come in different size and configuration. The one i purchase is RASPBERRY PI 2 MODEL B. It is the second generation Raspberry Pi. It replaced the original Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ in February 2015. Following are the configuration of Pi 2

  • A 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 4 USB Ports 2.0
  • 40 GPIO Pins
  • Full HDMI Port
  • Ethernet port
  • Combined 3.5mm audio jack and composite video

Raspbian is the Foundation’s official supported operating system for Pi. There are various version of it, which you can find on Raspbian Download section. Raspbian comes pre-installed with plenty of software for education, programming and general use. It has Python, Scratch, Sonic Pi, Java, Mathematica and more and I have also installed various software that needed for my project.

  • VNC Server for accessing RASPBIAN on windows
  • XRDP its a windows remote desktop access tool
